PDVoice Buddy is a single file, so there's no real installation. Download PDVoice Buddy.exe, put it somewhere you'll find it again — your Desktop is fine — and double-click it. The first time, Windows will probably show a blue box saying "Windows protected your PC"; that's expected, and it only means the app doesn't come from a big software company. Click "More info", then "Run anyway", and it will start. Windows may then ask whether the app can use your microphone: say yes, or the light won't work. A small pill appears in the corner of your screen, and after a second or two it's listening — just talk,
and watch the dot. Once it's running, click the gear and turn on "Open at login", so it starts by itself from then on and there's nothing to remember.
